Hearts social welfare development source is a nationally registered non-government organization working nearly two decades for the purpose of development and advocacy for women, low educated families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Hearts works through education health and nutrition, water and sanitation, economic development and child protection. Hearts categorizes the marginal community based on the economic and social conditions such as income, level of inclusiveness and respect in the society they live in.
The main focus of hearts is towards women, widows and women headed families’ elders and disabled, famers, children in the plantation community. Hearts actively engaged in the provisions of basic documents such as national identity cards, birth certificates, land ownership documents for plantation people.
Hearts have the vision to create a community where disparity in equality, Harassments against women and children and domestic and migrant workers specially. Its mission is to open and create enough opportunities to economically enrich vulnerable people, enhance the accessibility to education and advocate the issues on women and children for a better society to live.
